I thought I'd share this pic of our car with a drive-in formerly located in Salisbury, Maryland. Interestingly enough, the restaurant's name is the same as ours. No ties to this facility politically or otherwise..
My older brother, Joe had a Corvette just like this. A 61 Honduras maroon white cove sports car. I loved driving this car. 283 CI with 2X4's. Sounded great!
Our 1974 "Spirit of America" Chevrolet Nova Hatchback. Have had ownership of this vehicle since it was new (+37 yrs.).Received numerous national and locals awards.
We are the original owners of this 1974 Spirit of America Chevrolet Nova Hatchback. We have owned it from the day it came from the dealer in June of 74. It underwent a frame-off restoration which was completed in May 2008. We have won many National and local awards. We have many fond memories of this vehicle. And by the way, we still have all of the original documentation to include the $25 cancelled check that we wrote as a down payment.
We have owned this car for over thirty-seven years. We received it on June 17, 1974 after ordering it from a Chevy dealership in Virginia. Was our family car for a number of years and then stored it for over eighteen years @ our daughter's detached garage in Deale, Maryland. We have so many fond memories of this car. Can't and never will part with it.
