Hey my name is james mollohan,
this is my first blog and i am new to this site so i thought i would start off by introducing myself and my car to rides.com.
i bought this car probably about 6 to 8 months ago out of an insurance settlement i got from a 1998 mitsubishi eclipse that was vandelized and destroyed by my guess i would say my ex-girlfriend that got pissed off at me and knew the only way to really get to me was thru my car, allthough it was never proven i am almost sure she had something to do with it, but anyways, i used the settlement i got from my eclipse to buy this 1993 3000gt vr-4 that i have now, if only i had known how nice the 3000gt's actually were before i got my eclipse, i would have gotten one along time ago, but it turns out that the vr-4 was exactly what i was looking for. when i bought the eclipse,
i was wanting a nice little tuner that i could fix up that would be bada**, but when i started trying to do this and that to it, nothing would work out the way i wanted. it had a 4cyl. motor in it, non-turbo, and what i wanted more than anything was a car i could put turbo on and make it incredibly fast and customize it, and then come to find out, eclipse are notorious for wiring problems, and sensor issues, by the time i was done with my eclipse, the only thing good about it, was its looks, it was a beautiful car, it was slammed to the groung with a bodykit, underglow neons, 18 inch rims, it was really nice, when it was destroyed i figured it up and i already had 10 grand in the car and it was nice, but it was slow, just a stock dodge neon motor that had wiring problems and sensor issues, and when it was totalled out by insurance, they sent me a check for 4000.00. if i kept the car it would be 3000 but i figured i would cut my loss od 6 grand and go for something else,
So i started car shopping and i went to this car lot and seen this beautifulcandy apple red 3000gt vr-4.
.
and when i first seen it, i figured i would have my work cut out for me to put turbo and whatever else i wanted on it, i didnt know much about the vr-4 at the time so i was on unfamiliar territory, when i was talking to the woman about it and look at the car, it was brought to my attention about the specs on the car. she told me that is was a 1993 mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4 w/ twin turbo, all wheel drive, all wheel steering, all leather interior, an active aero-dynamics spoiler front and rear, 5 speed, i mean this car was like a dream come true, then i asked what the price was and i was expecting to have to put the whole 4000.00 check as a down payment and then some. and the woman told me she wanted 4500.00 cash only for the car, but as we all know, money talks, so she took 3000.00 down on the car and financed it, the car is finally paid off, and here i am. so its nice to meet all of you. happy tuning.
sincerly; james Mollohan
